For almost thirty years now, it has been my pleasure to publish top-quality magazines for my fellow members of the dog fancy. Although my experience runs from single-breed to all-breed magazines, I have always felt that a breed-specific publication is of great importance. From the tall to the small, from the hairy to the smooth, each breed in this great variety group has its unique identity but all share a common thread: Hounds have special needs and Hounds have special friends.

Melody, I and the entire team intend to make this magazine a very special friend to the members of Group II. SIGHT & SCENT promises to provide up-to-the-minute news to the loyal fans of Hounds; we’ll include interviews with successful breeders and judges as well as relevant health and legal issues. In short, each issue will be a celebratiton of the Hound breeds; with us, Group Two is truly Number One.
